upon internally developed, unique technology that is both rail-approved and
proven in service. Nomad is a technology leader in its field. It was the first
company to deploy pre-WiMAX (IEEE802.16) as a mobile backhaul technology for
trains and the first to deliver true bi-directional broadband connectivity to
trains including trains travelling underground. Nomad has developed and
implemented its own proprietary solutions which allows it to build mobile
networks using low-cost fixed wireless access radio equipment.
