Nigel Wallbridge is the founder and Executive Chairman of Nomad Digital. He has previously held senior managerial positions in the telecommunications industry, including CEO of Interoute, and President of Cable & Wireless Americas. A professional engineer with a doctoral degree from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from INSEAD, Nigel lives in France and is a Non-Executive Director for a number of technology companies. He has dual UK/Canadian citizenship.

Graeme graduated from the University of Newcastle with an MBA, and from the University of Sheffield with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng). From 1984 he worked in the power industry, including several oversees assignments in Singapore and Malaysia. In 1996 Graeme set up Industrial On-Line Ltd, which was sold in 2000 to J2C Plc. Graeme completed a stock market takeover of J2C Plc in 2002. Also in 2002, Graeme co-founded Nomad Digital with Nigel Wallbridge.

Bimal graduated from Cardiff University with an LLB Honours degree and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with Beavis Walker in 1999 (specialising in Audit and Transaction Services) .

Bimal then spent 3 & 1/2 years with KPMG specialising in Corporate Tax and M&A Advisory. In 2003 Bimal joined QinetiQ and took on various roles, looking after 5 UK divisions totalling approximately 2500 staff. As Sector Investment Director looking at new venture set up and operations, he ran the investment board and was the principle contact on UK M&A. Bimal joined Nomad in August 2007 after being QinetiQ’s attendee at Nomad board meetings since March 2007.
 

Haydn Abbott is the Chief Executive of Alpha Trains International, created as a separate company to concentrate on the European train leasing business outside of the UK following the sales of the Angel Trains Group by the Royal Bank of Scotland in August 2008. Haydn was previously the Chief Executive of the Angel Trains Group, Europe's leading train leasing company with assets and train orders of over £3.6bn in the UK, and a rapidly developing international business in both freight and passenger vehicles with assets of over €2bn.

 

Haydn was previously on the Board of De La Rue PLC. as Managing Director of the Casy Systems Division and with Sony Europe where he held the positions of Group Managing Director of Sony's UK business and then Vice President of Sony Europe, responsible for all of Sony's broadcast and professional equipment activities across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Sony, Haydn ran Racal Electronics worldwide offshore navigation systems business.

 

Haydn was Chairman of the Railway Industry Association from 2004 to 2006 and is now Chairman of the Railway Sector Advisory Group (from 2006 to 2011), and was also Deputy Chairman of the Railway Forum. He is a Cambridge graduate in Mathematics, and a Chartered Electrical Engineer, speaks several languages and is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transportation and a Freeman of the City of London.

Following his degree in Engineering, Emin initially worked on Radio and Satellite Communications at BT Research Labs, as well as being active internationally in the development of new technologies such as GSM and UMTS. Joining T-Mobile in 1990, Emin has been instrumental in developing T-Mobile's network. Currently as Technical Director to T-Mobile, he oversees the entire UK Networks operation, as well as having responsibilities in T-Mobile International. On the Board of Directors for Nomad Digital, Emin provides his technical insight and guidance to aid the development of Nomad's business.

David graduated from Sunderland Polytechnic in 1973 with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Folowing a career in BT PLC spanning 25 years, culminating in his appointment as General Manager of BT's cellular mobile business, he left in 1992 to set up Xpedite Systems Ltd (XSL). XSL was a start up Enhanced Fax Service Provider business funded by £3m Venture Capital utilising some technology from the US. Over the following five years, he built the business up to become market leader in the UK, and XSL was sold in 1997 to a US Company for S$87.5m, winning him the BVCA "Venturer of the Year" award in 1998. He was appointed as a Director of Nomad Digital during the funding round of 2006. He currently is also involved in an IT software business based in Maryland, US serving the financial compliance sector.

After graduating from Imperial College in London, James has had 25 years of experience where he has held senior positions as Product Manager for Atmel Semiconductor Inc, and as Director of International Business Development at VT Merlin Communications, and Senior Managing Director at CC Media Inc. Currently James is a Senior Investment Manager with SEB, and Director at Zinware.
