Nomad Digital announces strategic partnership with Zylog

London, UK 13th March 2009: Nomad Digital and Zylog Systems today announce that they have formed a strategic alliance to deliver wireless IT solutions in India.
UK based Nomad is the global market leader in the provision of mobile wireless services for transportation, whilst Zylog supplies a range of IT products and solutions to its global customers across multiple sectors such as banking, insurance and telecom.
The two companies have held detailed discussions on possible joint ventures and hope to make an announcement on a joint project coming soon.
Nomad leads the global market in mobile WiMAX transport communications. It installed the first ever rail broadband system on the UK's Brighton Express in 2005 and is designing, building, constructing and managing the world's longest broadband corridor on the UK's 600km London to Glasgow route. It is also building a key Metro network in the Middle East, and has secured several other key contracts to provide mobile internet access services with, amongst others: UTA in Salt Lake City, Norwegian Railways, and the Heathrow Express.
Nomad's system is unique in that it provides continuous high-speed broadband coverage, even through tunnels and on underground sections of track.
Established in 1995, Zylog has a strong presence in the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia and India. It is a provider of technology based solutions that leverage a globally positioned workforce of more than 1,500 software engineers and subject matter experts. Headquartered in New Jersey, Zylog was ranked 318 for the year 2006 in th eVAR Business 500 and was recognized among the fastest growing companies.
