Support & Maintenance Services
Nomad provide full support of hardware and software products including diagnosis of problems, suggestion of workarounds, remote diagnostics services, documentation manuals and help sheets and training. Nomad can also provide full maintenance of hardware and software products including corrective maintenance including (e.g. extended equipment warranty, repair or replacement of hardware or software (via hot-swap spares), maximum response times), preventive maintenance (e.g. bug fixing, firmware updates, software updates, service packs, patches, asset management). Nomad can also provide full operation services of hardware and software products including operation of network infrastructure (e.g. hosting of servers, managing backhaul provision and pro-active monitoring to identify problems).
Fully Managed Data Communication Services
Nomad can provide fully managed data communication services to cover entire fleets or multiple fleets on a turn-key basis. Services include support, maintenance and operation, provision of backhaul networks, integration with cellular networks, and the provision of all services under a Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Software Applications
Nomad can deliver various software applications including Nomad's widely deployed FleetManager. FleetManager is a core application that is used to configure, monitor and analyse both its hardware products and also the vehicles that these products are fitted. This application is known as FleetManager. In addition to its role as an application to configure and monitor hardware, FleetManager acts as base application into which other bespoke applications can be plugged in. These applications provide more specialist functions such as analysing Signals Passed at Danger (SPAD's) and other such specialist applications that may be required by customers such as Train Operating Companies. RITA (plug-in to FleetManager) Provides train information into core application to allow passenger information to be generated and displayed on the train or in the control room (e.g. delays against timetables etc). SPAD Analyser (plug-in to FleetManager) Allows SPAD (Signal Passed At Danger) incidents to be analysed quickly. VIZIER (plug-in to FleetManager) Provides driver performance monitoring. WAN Query (standalone software) Allows wide area connections to vehicles to be monitored and analysed.
