Nomad solutions are based around high speed switching and simultaneous links between moving platforms and central management locations using a mixture of public and private networks. The Nomad platform provides operators with a flexible and scalable solution which can support both current and anticipated application demands.
Nomad is network agnostic and solutions deployed have included 3G, CDMA, proprietary WiMAX, Mobile WiMAX and WiFi. Nomad can also deploy satellite solutions or build proprietary networks to provide "infill" where appropriate.
